Warhammer 40K - Tyranid
The Tyranids are a galactic nomadic, hungry swarm of living creatures searching for resources to strip bare and tear anything apart that stands in their way. They travel the galaxy in living hive fleets that consist of billions of living creatures ready to fulfill whatever functions the hive mind assign them.
Unlike other races, the Tyranids do not use any technology that is known or understood. Instead, the Tyranids use gene splicing and bioengineering to grow organic spacecrafts and weapons. With such rapid and unending streams of warriors and workers from bio factories, Tyranids are easily an unstoppable horde of hungry creatures that are a threat to the whole galaxy.
